More than 63,000 Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the UAE over the last 24 hours, from which 421 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed.
The number is down from the 449 cases announced on Monday and takes the total amount of infections in the country since the start of the pandemic to 48,667.

However, as with yesterday, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced a further fatality at the hands of the Covid-19 virus, with the death toll in the country currently standing at 315.
Officials also announced the recovery of 490 more patients, with the total number of recovered cases reaching 37,566.
